Description

A screw with a countersunk head,spaced thread,and a self-drilling point with two protruding wings 180°from each other,located above the point but below the thread portion of the shank.The underside of the head has four protruding nibs that extend from the top edge of the countersink to the area the head meets the threaded shank.

Applications/Advantages

For attaching wood to think gauge metal studs.The wings help to clear a sufficient size hole so the threads do not engage with the woode and assist in countersinking the head.The nibs serve to assist seating the head with out spliting surface materials such as laminates.

HEAT TREATMENT

Screws shall be quenched in liquid and then tempered by reheating
